First orchid bloom of the season begins to open on this plant that has given me so many flowers. such a blurry shot. I took the picture in a hurry, and thought I'd got it. Now it's too late - the bud is fully open.

that same flower one day later. still not fully emerged. The colour will still change, and the shape. The plant was a birthday gift from my parents. So was the cat.

I like this set, my orchid has large buds that will hopefully open soon. This reminds me of what I have to look forward to. I really like the last one, the lighting is really nice.

The first shot may not be exactly what you wanted but it's still an interesting shot, I like the red out of focus background... and the last is beautiful!
