Sarah Sheard and her flowers

2008.03.26
Sarah at her door.

Flowers on the table by her chair kept interrupting our conversation, calling out 'Look! Now! Look!'

sensitivity, intelligence and generosity of of spirit

those crazy talking flowers again!

I don't know if this is how Sarah would see herself. She can be so high-spirited and playful. Do I gravitate towards the pictures that show something vulnerable, more tentative? She does have the most mysterious eyes.

Ok, here is a different view.

Gorgeous hands, and so well spoken.

The room is very tall, spacious, light-filled. A former corner store, the windows cover two walls from floor to high ceiling. The space is uncluttered. Each beautiful thing in the room has enough space around it to be fully itself.

sexy beast of a bud

Extraordinary woman.

CJLata Truly she is an excellent subject, the white hair is great too. Love your work. I have seen your comments for others around here and there. This morning, I thought I would drop in on you and look at more of your photos.

Peche She does have a wonderful sparkle in her eyes - fantastic work, again Julia. I love your portrait shots and the shots of her hands moving are wonderful and full of life. The flowers just add to the flavour of it all :)

DancingDolphin I really really like the first shot and the b/w.... without a clue about the woman, she seems like a person who should be shown smiling, it seems very natural! Also love #2, great shapes and light against the black.
