this happened spontaneously, while I was photographing something else. I plan to explore this more with other non-cat subjects. the image reminds me of the sense of touch, the veil like skin, only responding to what is close. sfumato.

This is intriguing. It didn't register to me immediately as it is. At first I thought it was a piece of sheet metal that had been dented by something. I'm curious to see the effects using other subjects.
