The Premier spoke about the power of imagination which inspired the survivors to rebuild their lives. My father spoke very briefly about the work he and my mother are doing to preserve the stories of 450 survivors by creating transcripts of their interviews. The texts will then be a resource for research and a way of keeping these stories alive in our memories. The funding for the transcription project has been provided by the Ontario government.

Preserving the stories such an important project so that we may always remember and learn from past horrors as we strive to build a world without hate and free from atrocity.
