Day 1

Hello, Photoblog! I am trying to learn how to take better photos, and I decided starting a blog would force me to practice more.

I forget how the idea came about, but it started with a cat. An orangey cat, as I am fond of calling any cat that has even a tuft of orange fur. I was working out on the trail behind my house when I noticed a cat languishing on the edge of the soft surface path. As I approached, it retreated deeper into the brush. I noticed a can of Fancy Feast nearby, so someone's been feeding the little gent. Or lady. When I returned with my camera after filling up the can with turkey, the cat had gone. But I still thought a photo op remained.
