11.26.09 -Successful Thanksgiving

Me and a few of my friends realized we'd be here in Tallahassee absent family and other plans for Thanksgiving. I decided to have some people over and make a nice day of it. My guy friends brought the turkey and I made an apple pie (pic 1), herbed onion wheat biscuits (pic 2, shape of stars for interest sake), stuffing (pic 3) and the headliner: Ravioli with Swiss Chard and Butternut Squash and Toasted Hazelnuts. The recipe came from a blog (http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/hazelnut-chard-ravioli-salad-recipe.html) AND WAS DELICIOUS. Not easy to make, but SOO awesome none the less.

Two pies and a few beers later, everyone was satisfied. Mission accomplished!
