11.06.10 -Day Eleven: Paris

Another early departure as we head off to our next stop, Paris! FG has an engagement dinner for some of his friends so we make a quick pit stop in Paris. The rain begins as soon as we arrive and any thoughts of wearing my cute ballet flats are quickly washed down the drain with the runoff. C'est la vie right? So we head to The Louvre because that is one thing we can do in this crappy weather.
I stopped by my boy Pheidippides after his run from Marathon to tell him how tough of a course that was. Next I said hello to the ancient cats of Mesopotamia to check in with Bailey's ancestors. Social pressure pushed me onto Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa, then eventually hunger drove us all out of the Louvre. We spent about four hours seeing two floors of the Louvre and could have easily spent an entire day in there (if they had food).
Outside, more rain.
