Brook and I took a beginner’s yoga class this morning. It was relaxing for me, equivalent to getting a massage. We both couldn’t believe how much bone crackling went on between the two of us while doing the poses; getting old sucks.
I also realized how hard it is to concentrate on your breathing without thinking about anything else. I guess that’s the whole point of meditation/mindfulness which is the key to removing stress from your body. I need more practice.
I had a great day after starting off with Yoga. I had energy and was relaxed throughout the day. I have to remember to do this more often especially with school starting on Tuesday. Balls!
