For everyone who keeps asking, this is a pic of me yesterday ;P
I forgot to talk about our trip to Edinburgh... we had to ride a bus, and it was a double decker, so we rode on the top in the very front! These buses are WAY faster than the ones at home. Once you get in, they take off! It's kinda scary because we're already on tiny roads and there's 2 lanes and there's people walking everywhere, and we're going at least 40mph when we probably should be going 20ish. I think the buses speed up at pedestrian intersections too... It's scary sometimes to cross the street when a bus is coming! It's not like Tech at all... people don't have the right of way here! The bus ride back was a single decker bus..lol and it was weaving in and out of traffic and going really fast like the others, but this little red car came in front of us and the bus crashed into it!! We had to pull over and the police and an ambulance came. There was a little baby girl in the back of the car, but everyone was ok. Another bus came, another double decker, so we rode up top again, and it seemed scarier after that wreck. It's funny because when you buy tickets for the bus, you have the option of buying a ticket with insurance. haha we didn't - we were like it's just a bus ride. and we had an accident. We still didn't need it though. But after riding, I can understand why some people would want it!
I got aim to work! But if anyone gets skype, that is really neat to talk on too ;P
I've been looking everywhere for a hairdryer and asked people and everytime I went out, the stores ran out or were closed. So I asked my flatmates again and they remembered there was one in the closet that the girl in my room last semester left! So I found one for free! And geeze, it's powerful! I dried my hair in like 3 minutes! I want to bring it home, but the plug and converter is different.
Last night I went on a little walk with another girl in my flat and of course there was a sunset the one time I didn't bring my camera! That was the first sunset I've seen in Glasgow too - it was pink and pretty!
One of the girls in my flat was in a band at a bar last night... we went and it was fun. We came back and ate nutella on bread! and cookies! haha
Alex and I just got back from a bagpiping concert! :D There were 2 pipe bands and one is the current world pipe band champion! They were good! I was hoping they would play amazing grace, but I guess they were trying to show off their skills and decided to play harder songs. I took some movies so if you want to hear, let me know and I'll email it to ya!
