I like this idea a lot and it works really well in b/w. I've learned a lot myself by throwing things out and asking for input. One thing you might play with a little is the balance... the only black in the photo is heavily on the left and so is the edging, while there's a lot of empty space on the right. Maybe take a little of the upper left edge stuff away and add a little on the right. Maybe some REALLY long things... even going down past the turtle? Maybe experiment with cropping it differently, cutting out the turtle or cutting out the two birds. When I cover either 1/3 of the shot, it is more interesting to me. The four animals together pull my eye around. It looks like you're having fun. It's fun on this end also to see what people come up with. I'm looking forward to seeing Test 3!

I like your cast of characters and the border is fun as well. Maybe if the border's other corner was the same it would give a more intimate frame?

J'aime beaucoup ce "bestiaire" le noir et blanc, les reflets, l'humour de la situation et de l'attitude des "personnages", et les effets sur le "cadre".

Pour moi, c'est très bon ! Peut-être, en effet, comme le souligne Jen, un chouya plus de contraste... mais c'est un avis et un goût totalement personnels.

this is a great photo! great composition and i like the edges - when i took a photo class in college we had the option to develop our photos with an edge like that and i always preferred it for some reason - make it look more authentic i think :-)

Tu testes quoi au juste?La photo est belle.Juste un peu surex sur la partie gauche (eau).Un léger coup de densité+ pourrait y remédier. En fait, je me dis que si tu avais cadré sans les 2 oiseaux de gauche, tu aurais obtenu une photo différente et très amusante : discussion entre un canard et une tortue. Peut-être le cadre?Honnêtement, je préfère celui d'aujourd'hui.L'effet négatif déchiré colle bien au N et B.C'est manuel ou logiciel?

Très belle image. Le cadre et la photo me paraissent un peu trop différents dans la densité. Le cadre est peut-être un peu trop noir pour la photo qui elle est un peu trop grise et blanche. Ce n'est que mon avis et j'espère qu'il te permettra de progresser dans ta reflexion, que tu le partages ou non. Courage, c'est toujours très instructif de tenter quelque chose.
