Belgrade is not the most beautiful place for living. In fact, it is pretty much annoying and frustrating. Therefore the extreme beauty in Belgrade appears in unusual and unexpected ways and shines as a diamond in ugliness. Visitors describe Belgrade as easy going, city for leisure and fun.
For us, who have been living here for many years and think we know it as our pocket, it offers something in very specific situations - when we don't expect anything and when we are not longing for other spots in this world. Then Belgrade smiles with big bright smile and shows us, old friends and enemies, how special it can be.
Perfect bicycle route at the edge of the city going along river Sava (these days wide and wild) to Ostruznica bridge is why I love Belgrade today. For tomorrow we will see...
