The building across the street from Union - this is the actual colour it was reflecting off off Union, I have only slightly increased the Hue. It caught my eye and I wish I had taken more of it from different angles...

Normally after a long day at work the sky beyond those buildings displays brillant purple and pink hues... however, with the overcast skies tonight it was more of an ominous dark grey blue colour. Ended up being the perfect colours for the contrast in this shot....

So it seems that winter has suddenly escaped us! I was lucky to have had my appointment downtown today - though it was grey and gloomy it was incredibly warm for the start of January, feeling more like late April. The overcast skies also allowed for the opportunity to snap some great photos and of course created quite the effect in the late evening sky.
After my appointment (before heading off to work) I took the time to stroll a short distance along Front St. and around Union Station to get some shots for my Project 365. Toronto really is a great city to shoot - though I've been visiting it for the entire 22 years of my life, it seems I always notice something new....
