We made friends with the old man next to us... he was chatting up a storm with Brett, and he offered to get a picture of the two of us! I like this one because we have the background of the Skydome in it!

Whats a baseball game without an ice cold beer??.... or three??

On Saturday it's "Jr Jays" day and after the game they let kids "run the bases like the pros". Before they let the general population in, vetran Jays player Vernon Wells brought his two little boys out to run the plates!! The littlest one melted my heart as I watched him put everything he had into making it around the bases like Dad. So Brett and I walked down as close as we could to get some pictures. I love this one!

Brett and I out with friends later on in the night. I like this one of the two of us.... :)

Saturday morning we got up early enough to head into the city for a quick lunch before heading to the Skydome (now called Rogers Centre... but I hate that, so I stick with the original name) for the Jays vs. Red Sox game!! It was definitely part of the reason we picked THIS weekend for Brett to drive up! I'm not a HUGE baseball fan, but I wore the Sox hat Brett bought for me at Fenway Park back in November to support him. However, the Jays won 10-2... so I wasn't disappointed... though I wouldn't really have been either way....
Afterwards we met my parents for dinner downtown at my favorite restaurant to celebrate my Fathers 61st birthday... and then on the way home I heard from a friend who was going out. After coming home and crashing for a bit we agreed we would go out and meet her and a few people for drinks for a little bit. We ended up each having only one beer and then heading home around 1. I must admit though... it was definitely the perfect Saturday, and one that meant a lot to me.

How fun!!!! I love baseball! At least your Jays have a better record than my Tigers. Sheesh. Great photos and wondeful set! I like the last photo of you two. That hat looks adorable backwards!

I love baseball. I bet you two had a great time. Tell Brett my team is the Cubs but I'm glad the Red Sox have 2 World Series under there belt. I hate the Yankees
