Cops for Cancer

A couple of weeks ago I got an email from the Durham Region Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society, asking if I could photograph an upcoming event they had. The event was the head shave for their Cops for Cancer fundraiser, and I was so thrilled to be asked I agreed immediately. (for those who missed it, see my photos from when I photographed the Relay for Life for them in June - here and here)
This event today was very different and incredible to get to see the variety of people who came out to support such an incredible cause. I was thrilled to have this opportunity. Keep an eye out for some more photos from this day...

Amber One of these days I will get the balls do to this. My big mess of red hair means so much to me, so cutting if all off would mean even more. These people are very brave : ) Great photos!!

Sonic7 My word, that lady with the long black hair is so gutsy. Well done to her. I love this set, Kerry, great reportage. I'd love one of those t-shirts next time you go. ;-)
