Halloween. We waited too long and ended up carving our pumpkins that morning once we woke up. Afterwards we did a full blown clean of the house (needed it after the carving). Once we were done everything, it was getting close to that time that the kids would come around so Brett went out and picked us up a pizza and we curled up on the couch with pizza, red wine and watched Valkyrie - handing out candy to the few little ones who came around. It was a perfect first Halloween in our first home...
That is amazing. I never knew so much effort was put into making your pumpkins. Over here we just get a knife and carve out a rough face. Well done Brett.
