After quite a long journey we finally made it to our hotel early afternoon. It was slightly drizzly and overcast (exactly as we expected), but we were just happy to finally be in Ireland. After some quick showers to freshen ourselves up, we headed out of our hotel shortly after 3:30 and began exploring Dublin. We spent most of the evening wandering up and down the River Liffey, O'Connell Street, Henry Street and the Temple Bar area just trying to become familiar with the area. After being told by a local Irishman not to eat in Temple Bar because of the prices, we found a place to eat on the north side of the Liffey... unfortunately neither of us can remember what it was called but we both enjoyed our dinners!
After being awake over 24 hours (I don't sleep too well on planes) we called it an early night and were back at the hotel and in bed by 8:30... at least we could make Friday a full day!
