This is a Clapper bridge......a simple and effective way of keeping your feet dry

At the top of Malham Cove ......the tarn (or lake)...a natural water feature......possible because of underlying sandstone shales

This is the out flowing stream....which eventually finds its way to the bottom of the Cove....via a sinkhole!!!
