Mashifu

We had a fantastic bowl of beef noodle soup in this local resto in downtown Lido. Niuroumian means beef noodle in chinese. This is their bestseller and you get about three slices of beef which is just enough. The noodles are hand pulled and prepared only after you order and the "noodle man" puts on a great show doing this in front of customers inside his open style kitchen, with clear windows in front of the restaurant. Even passersby can stop and watch him. Too bad I was not able to get a good shot. But will definitely go back here so will do that then. Great soup to have in this chilly weather.

When in China, do as the Chinese do. There is no need to use a soup spoon here.

Good to the last drop. Now you know how huge a single serving of beef bowl is! Just right for a really hungry one though.

And the best part is the price! Unbelievable! Had a great lunch date again! We'll bring the kids with us next time.
