Beijing Cuisine

Not really one of the must see places here but the sign was enough to pique my interest. Something different. Something other than roast duck. Something the locals usually and ordinarily eat. A new take on some familiar dishes and others totally new. Liked it!

Similar to Adobong Mani back home. The nuts were immersed in a soy-vinegar sauce.

Tofu strings. Served cold. A bit bland for me.

Cabbage with mushroom. Yum!

Chicken dish with a lot of spices.

Stir Fried Tomatoes with Egg a.k.a. Sarciadong Itlog. Perfect with dried fish and garlic fried rice!

This was in the menu. It just didn't feel right to order this and become an accessory to a crime. Haha!
