What a great way to celebrate the lantern festival, an end to the Chinese New Year in school! The excitement of a temple fair - beijing snack food, lion and dragon dance, lanterns, parade, traditional folk art shows, shadow puppet play, all in the comfort and security of the school. Plus kids performing at the auditorium for a traditional dance wearing their costumes. Great overview on chinese culture. Super fun day!
