What to do when you're on a class field trip. This is the Grade 2 field trip at the Mutianyu side of the Great Wall with parent volunteers in tow. It's my first time to hike up the wall since we've always taken the cable car up and either the toboggan or the cable car again going down. I was huffing and puffing by the time we reached the wall. Kids, on the other hand, had tons of energy even running up some flights of stairs. Loved the perfect autumn weather too, not too cold and not too hot either.

Ally, am so happy you and Mommy had this field trip! The Great Wall is one of the great wonders of the world. It is the only one of earth's many landmarks that can be seen from outer space. Your activities are not only varied and exciting but so fun. The one I like the most is - listening to the wall... love this! Love you, Ally Girl. Miss you. Hugs.
