Did you ever realize that they usually don't make tables for one? We can certainly understand why, can't we? PCA

I hope he comes back soon. Is it a permanent transfer? It's strange, not realizing how much someone has become a part of your life until they are gone. I hope things work out : )

Very beautiful set, the light and framing give a peaceful atmosphere, obviously not a long separation, may be a bit of frustration ?

Thank goodness for the amendment..when I saw your beautifully set table for one and then looked at my half eaten peanut buter /bacon and banana sandwich..hold the bread.. perched next to my work files by the pc I felt terribly uncivilized..now at least I know there are two of us. :D

How brave of you to reveal your vulnerability to us, but most of all to your best friend. Lucky you! Now ponder that when you eat "alone"!
