Scratch and run

Last Friday I went to the bookstore/spirit store/whatever you call it at the college Greg and I graduated from to get him a shirt for his birthday because oddly enough, neither of us own clothing from our alma mater. Because it's summer, I was one of 5 cars in this huge, vast parking lot. When I came out from the store, I noticed a business card under my windshield wiper. I didn't think anything of it and went on my merry way.

That night we were leaving our house to go down to my parents' summer house and Greg says, "What happened to your car?" I ran around to the driver's side, and there was the scratch. It is a HUGE, deep scratch. So some idiot had to park that close to me in the 99% empty lot that he managed to hit my car. WTF? Then it turns out that the business card he put under my wiper ISN'T EVEN HIS. The guy it belongs to was out in California for a funeral.

So now I'm seriously pissed. I'm thinking of calling up the school and finding out if they have security cameras in that lot and if they can get the license plate number of the idiot. Because he is responsible for paying my $500 deductible!!
