Christmas specials

Have you watched any Christmas specials this year? I usually watch quite a few, even the ones that I don't really like. For instance, I watch A Charlie Brown Christmas (this one is a different Charlie Brown one) every year even though I hate HATE that stupid "Christmastime is here" song. The second line is "Happiness and cheer" but they sound anything but happy or cheerful. They sound totally depressed.

I also watched the remastered Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the first time in a long time, and wow. Could Santa be any crabbier? He's going to cancel Christmas because of a snowstorm? And he's totally cranky to those elves who make up a song for him. I think he'd be on his own naughty list.

The only thing left is to watch 24 hours of A Christmas Story on TNT on Christmas Eve. That's another tradition. Oh, and we always watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation every year, but haven't yet. We'd better get on that. Maybe this weekend.
