I was putting out seed for the chipmunk when this chickadee flew over to eat. He didn't seem to care at all that I was there.

This was only about 2 feet above my head. He wasn't scared, but kept chirping at me. I guess I was interfering with his dinner.

I was looking in the direction that we'd seen the baby bunny but I didn't see anything but this clump of what I thought was dead grass. Turned out it was the baby bunny taking a nap. We got really close before he woke up. Do bunnies sleep with their eyes open? I swear he was.

I didn't want to get too close so that we'd disturb him and he wouldn't want to come back. I was whispering to Greg and the bunny's ears starting perking up.

Wow! What a great catch...usually they are too fast! I used to have a pet bunny, and I can't remember if she slept with her eyes open???
