A Christmas Eve disaster
2008.12.24
So this seemly innocent iron was responsible for the disaster. I plugged it and and attempted to iron Greg's shirt only it burned a hole right through it! Then I unplugged it because it started making these popping noises like it was sparking, only it didn't stop once I unplugged it. I ran into the kitchen with it because I didn't know what else to do. My mom said she threw it away. This is why I don't iron often.

For some reason I thought maybe I could wash the burn off but obviously not. And you can kind of see the holes in the shirt, too. It ended up in the trash and Greg wore a shirt of my brother's to church.
