We found a giant checkers set on a table in a bookstore. Dom rocked me, only his second time playing checkers. I taught him last week. The student has become the teacher!

Rain in Gaslamp, looking out the Chuck Jones Gallery

Today we went to Seaport Village for a surprise lunch for my mom's birthday. We then went to the Chuck Jones Gallery in the Gaslamp Quarter to check out original art by him and Dr. Seuss, great gallery. My mom really likes Marvin the Martian, I bought her a painting of him from the gallery last year. It ended up raining the end of our day. It's raining right now and is nice to hear.
