Proselytizing
2008.02.09
Jehovah's Witnesses came to our door today, and they even asked for my husband by name (he was at work). I received these lovely newsletters, which really are a waste of good paper, as they inevitably find their way into the trash can. I know they mean well, but I wish they'd realize that we aren't going to be converted.

It is a process they call "Pioneering". My cousin was one of the leaders out here in Northern California. He told me once they have maps of areas with color coding on the houses and residences to tell where they need to work hard to get the inhabitants to come to their halls. I guess each person has their own beliefs but I agree that being pushy is just not the way to win friends and converts.
