I wonder if this is the same butterfly as #9, missing some more bits of wing, or a different one?

This butterfly is a stunning blue color on the backs of his wings, but he won't open them up unless he's flying.
|
So I caught him flying--he was very stubborn, so this was the best shot I could get.
|
|
|
|
Are they fighting or preparing to mate?
|
|
They tell us not to trample the butterflies, but I think there are a few casualties nevertheless..
