Then There Were Five...

Every spring out back of my work, there is a duck and her babies. They started off as 6 little ducks, now there are 5. Soon it will be 4, then threee. I don't know if they are getting run over by traffic or if predators are getting them, but they fall off one by one. Every spring it's the same thing and it's just a little bit sad to see one less duckie every time they waddle by.
