Church on the Hill

2008.03.18

I love taking photos of churches, and I can't explain why. Maybe it's their interesting architecture and solace. This church is actually a museum now, and is in Presidio Park in San Diego. Very beautiful. Sunset would have been amazing, but food is often a higher priority than photographing a stationary building. They'll be more sunsets!

moonofthewild ooooh, I like the first one and the fifth one. In the fifth one, i love the looking out the window thing, but what adds to it, is the shaded balcony--it adds interest and less of the dark/light, like the dark/light contrast is kinda monotonous sometimes. Anyway, I'm digging it.

Delseneas Great photos Nae I like # 1, 2 , 3, 4, and 5! :) if the churches here were as cool as the ones out west I would love to take photos of churches too. Here in VA they aren't so cool, they are all oversized and like every building around them.

zabdorff Beautiful pics... Somehow the pictures are much more beautiful and charming than I remember the building being. The lighting is superb.
