Ceramics Exhibition

These are from my friend Sarah's Bachelor's of Fine Arts Exhibition last Friday. I took about 300 photos there (the person that was going to take photos of her works, er, bailed on her--to put it nicely). I sure learned a lot about taking pictures in galleries. First, the lighting is mostly awful. Second, have some sort of foot stool to get a slightly higher angle is a good idea (especially if you're short). And third, take lots of photos.

Anyway, the exhibition went really well. All of the pieces were very well done and very interesting to look at. For this post I chose one of the "from above" photos, and then a close-up of the pieces that are in the photo (except for the minis--there are too many of them to post, and unfortunately only a small percentage of them are in good focus).
