Jumpin' On The Bed!

Was practicing with my flash again (one of these days I WILL de-mystify that thing!)

There is a technique called, "Dragging the shutter" where you pretty much meter for the darkness in the room ,meaning your shutter speed will be very, very slow and the flash will do the 'freezing of the action' for you.

My shutter speed here was actually down to "bulb" and as you can see, there really isn't a lot of motion blur since the flash was able to freeze the action.

This photo was taken in a completely dark room (which makes focusing very difficult!) and my flash was bounced off the ceiling.

I added a vignette to this photo which makes the corners appear darker.

It's strange to hear your camera taking so long to take the shot but so cool to see the photo you end up with!
