Our house. Funny but it's a scheduled monument :O

My street

The house I spent many many good hours in

My secondary school

Town hall, sadly there was some kind of musical festival so I couldnt really catch the building..

World peace gong, given by the Indonesian casualties of the famous tsunami. Our town helped in rebuilding.

The oldest building, the Hamvay mansion. from the outside... It doesnt look old though :D

...and from the inside

Statue, dedicated to the local casualties of the two world wars.

The former town hall, now hotel

The Grassalkovich palace

A statue, remembering the 1933 world scout jamboree which was held in our town

Community centre

Monument to the Trianon peace treaty

Worldtree (or Lifetree, I always forget it). Under construction at the moment

Another old building, the railway station

Yet another old building, the university

University of agriculture

Wherever I may roam

The old chatolic church

Park dedicated to our beloved Sissi, Queen Elizabeth, Wife of Franz Joseph

The new chatolic church

The evangelistic church

My friend of (in?) misery (Sorry, I forgot to rotate this pic)

My street again, during sunset (Back home!)

aurian I enjoyed looking at this series of yours - our towns are so very different! (not a monument in sight in my suburbia). I wonder what the 'world tree' will look like when completed?
