I was thinking the same as Ann. In the UK an alley is old fashioned, maybe with cobble stones. It's where the refuse bins are, and people are doing things that they wouldn't do out on the street - all sorts of things! Your alley looks lovely. SADHYA · 2012-05-18: 15:16
