Found these in the usual greenhouse I trespass in whenever the opportunity arises. They are hybrids, and I am not entirely sure that I approve of such meddling. I so often find myself wondering why it is that we ( humans ) cannot just enjoy and appreciate nature for what it is. As if it is not interesting and fascinating enough already.

Not really my cup of tea either, but you have taken lovely shots of these weird flowers. I think the first one is the most successful - the focus is beautifully sharp on the main flower. Maybe a slightly smaller aperture would have helped with the second. SADHYA · 2012-06-23: 14:14
