And then there was this. Believe me when I tell you that I am not against the notion that we should all clean up after ourselves and our animals. But I really do find this sign and those like it to be offensive in so many ways. Not the least of which that someone found it necessary to bolt it to an otherwise beautiful and healthy tree. Just had to get that off my chest.

I got up early on my first day of vacation today and went for a short drive and walk in the woods. "Almost" everything I saw was awe inspiring to the point where I forgot where I was. Have a great day!

What a fantastic early morning walk... that sign is almost as annoying as the people who need it to remind them to clean up after themselves and their dogs

The second shot is just breathtaking! and I can almost imagine it when all the fall colours come in! and I love that deep cherry red! great set!

You are so blessed to have such a beautiful place to roam, explore and enjoy.
From where I come from... the weather is forever hot and humid...and dog shit, dung or pooh..under the hot sun just dried up in 15mins... and nobody clean up after their dog.
