Mothers day

A day of canoeing hiking or biking. I refused all had to be by myself debrief and get grounded again after my Canyon trip. So went out to find spring in Manitoba in my favorite Assiniboine Park. A 2 hour walk turned in to a 3 hour walk. The spring is here. Without much exploring she was out full in my face with all her colours and fragrance I just had to snap away.
I thought to post my captures and dedicate them to “ALL THE WOMAN OUT THERE” on mothers day.
I believe and have experienced that all woman have a motherly instinct even woman without children and many would make better and greater mother then the woman with child.

What does mother really mean: maternal, protect, loving, affectionate, caring….and that most woman have and have given to children in there lives.

What beauty you captured on your walk and in words! All of your shots are lovely - I especially like the focus and composition of the fern shot (#3) and the frog and turtle are soo cute!

Hi Jen, no I didn't this is the way they looked almost unreal they are very small little flowers at a flower garden and one of the first to be out. I wish I knew what they called! Nr. 6 are wild tulips I was told be a flower admirer love them.

Every photo here is beautiful. The frog is superb. And thank you for what you wrote as well. I don't have children, and I feel like a mother in many ways.
