Acrobatic Bumblebee

2007.08.12
How doth the little busy bee Improve each shining hour, And gather honey
all the day from every opening flower.
Isaac Watts

The little bee returns with evening's gloom, To join her comrades in the
braided hive, Where, housed beside their might honey-comb, They dream their polity shall long survive.
Charles Tennyson Turner

Seeing only what is fair, Sipping only what is sweet, . . . . Leave the
chaff, and take the wheat. Ralph Waldo Emerson

A wild Bee reels from bough to bough With his furry coat and his gauzy
wing, Now in a lily cup, and now Setting a jacinth bell a-swing, In his
wandering. Oscar Wilde

You are my honey, honeysuckle, I am the bee.
Albert H. Fitz

"O bees, sweet bees!" I said; "that nearest field Is shining white with
fragrant immortelles Fly swiftly there and drain those honey wells."
Helen Hunt Jackson

The pedigree of honey Does not concern the bee; A clover, any time, to
him Is aristocracy. Emily Dickinson

I have been visiting this wild rose bushes over the last week and observed the activity of the bumblebees in and around the flowers. ((I think they are bumblebees)
I got infatuated with there behavior. It was a most hilarious thing to watch as they were pollinating the flowers. They looked like drunken bees performing all kinds of acrobatics tumbling and dancing while doing there work . They were totally entranced and couldn’t care less about me having my camera right in there faces.
