The boreal forest wraps the Earth's northern hemisphere like a green cloak. Canada’s boreal forests constitute 25% of the planet’s remaining original forests, and collectively compose the second largest expanse of intact forest left on Earth. It is one of the world’s largest remaining intact forests. It covers close to 12% of the planet's surface and stretches across the heart of Canada from coast to coast.

What a great way presenting the country of Canada. Having lived here for 25 years and still not being a Canadian citizen makes me wonder why I am not. It truly is one of the most beautiful gargantuan and cared for countries I know.
I am doing a somewhat illegal post here. However knowing how big photoblog is and how many people share and post I felled the need to share this with my fellow photographers.
I posted the names of all the photographers who took these fantastic shots all over the country of Canada Kazuyoshi Ehara - left his native Japan to study photojournalism in Canada in 2002. Jim Ross - is an award winning photographer based in Toronto, where he is a regular freelancer. John Woods - is originally from Belfast, Ireland. He has been shooting professionally since 1993. Todd Karol - started his career working as a staff photographer for the Grandview/Gilbert Plains. Dan Riedlhuber - began freelancing for the Edmonton Sun. Andy Clark - began his career in 1974 working for The Canadian Press. Jeff Bassett - has been a news photographer for 24 years.

thanks a lot for sharing this. We need forests as oxygen. I love Canada. I have been in Collingwood at friends' and travelled around Geogian Bay and the by train to main cities up north till Quebec City. I loved Go Home Lake where my Canadian friends own a cottage. Incredible places and nature.
