This kind of heavy wet snow can be hard on the plants..hope yours will be OK.But it does make for lovely photos.

Yikes! That's the reality of April! You just never know. We've had great snow storms in April, but usually melt very quickly. Hopefully the flowers will survive. Great photos, though. :)

It was very odd: my entire garden was Narnia for a few hours then in almost no time at all there was barely a trace of the snow. Lovely pics by the way.

The ceanothus should do alright, they are a pretty hardy plant. What colour is the flowers? I had a lovely dark purple one in the UK, pained me that I had to leave all those lovely plants when we moved to Spain. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
