Passion flower

2009.09.13

Passiflora. Fairly new addition to my back garden and beginning to cover a fence. This is its second flowering in the last year.

I posted some shots of it on 26 October 2008 but not macros.

These show it much better.

I like the fact that it flowers in the autumn.

what an unusual flower, great colours and so many parts to it :)

Nice to see someone else likes the Passion Flowers. I saw and blogged my first last year, growing over someones wall. They were are again this year but I don't go past as often now.

They are unusual aren't they? Nice shot and lucky you having your own to watch.

They are lovely, we have some growing around the back door and the flowers always look artificial on account of their complexity, if that makes sense. (Which is probably doesn't, but I know what I mean!)
