A small (just under 6" high) carving of an Ethiopian warrior. I used some white card to show him in relief.

I like the last one , what material is the sculpture made of. I remeber buying a small black vase from Africa , think it was called "soap stone" but not sure.

I stand (sit) corrected, but I wonder whether this isn't an elder and not a warrior. The hunched back, stick, stick-like legs and receding forehead would point to that. As for the material, it appears to be hard wood. Of course, it could be a tired, clapped-out and knackered old warrior, in which case I know how he feels.
