I really liked these sculptures by Christine Close. When I was a child our ginger cat brought back a series of leverets- all dead and laid them at my mum's feet (presents) but then the final one was alive. So my dad built a hutch for it and we kept it as a pet. But a neighbourhood boy took a fancy to it so I gave it to him and can't remember how long we had it. I have never met to this day anyone who had a wild hare as a pet!

There is a way of telling a hare from a rabbit. Unfortunately I don't know what it is.
