The Tuesday Inspiration

This is my new king duvet cover and is where today's TI fits in.

It's rather fancy but blends well with the turquoise colour scheme of the bedroom.

None of the cats have tried to wrench the sequins off yet.

My mother always used to iron pillow cases but as you can see I don't!

"The Tuesday Inspiration” began in 2009 when they started setting each other a challenge... on a Tuesday. Very soon afterwards, it was decided to open this up to other PB members, followed by the idea that we should not reveal what the subject is, so that other members could compare how different members view a single theme. The Tuesday Inspiration is not a contest or a challenge, but a group of people all agreeing to post their interpretation of a single theme on Tuesdays. Each week, one of the contributors sets the theme. There are now over 40 members contributing to the TI. We have only two “rules”: don’t include the subject in the TI title or tags and please comply with standard PB guidelines on courtesy, etc. If you would like to take part, please contact HELEN Girafferacing.

Very fancy. I am probably the only person in the UK who doesn't use a duvet. I don't need one. I share my bed with four or sometimes five dogs and the amount of heat they give off is more than sufficient to warm my old bones at night!

My mother did, too - she's probably sadly disappointed when she visits me! This is a GORgeous duvet - lovely shots of it's details. And one of my "themes", as well!

That's where I'd love to be now! Ha! Even my mother used permanent press and didn't need to iron the linens :-) I certainly don't -- looks like you have lots of good company on that one!
