try 1/125 of a second at F11. if possible use manual focus at infinity and not beyond.. this tends to work well for full moon shots

The moon is so hard to shoot, I find... tripod, special lense, what not... but I am with you: I also want spectacuar shots with my handheld point and shoot... :o)

Nice job for your first try! I know it's very hard to get moon shots. I took many shots of the moon with my older camera and never got anything I was happy with.
