I spotted this foal while on my way to Egham in Surrey. Had to zoom through a thicket of branches so not the greatest of shots. He stared straight at me as I pointed my camera.

and then wandered towards the safety of his mum further up the field.

Lovely , pity he didn't step just one little bit forward to his right in the first shot in the clearing to get a better view . Looks so sweet.

Did you know that in a situation like this - object of interest behind other things which the camera may want to focus on - you can set your camera to manual and focus where you want to.
