Peaceful

It snowed here last weekend, and as it was falling, we took these shots of some shrubs in our front yard. Every year, we prune them back heavily in the fall and wonder why they never bloom in the spring. As it turns out, they must be a winter bloomer! The start out as pink/red buds and when the flowers open up, they turn white as the snow.
