This small version simply doesn't do this shot justice! Our Christmas dinner centerpiece - entirely created by Heidi from a dozen red roses, and buds from our front yard.

Went back to the local park on Christmas night to shoot the tree again with the new cam! I like the star reflected in the puddle at the bottom of the shot.

Ah, yes, new cameras are the best. =) And you're right on #2, you really must enlarge it to get the full effect.

yea for a new camera! good job Heidi! the first photo makes me hungry! although i've even enough sugar to last me a long long time... but of course i'll be eating more today! your new camera takes great night shots! very clear and the light is great - and gotta love those wet pavement reflections! :-)

What did you get? I checked my stocking for a new D300, but apparently Santa forgot to drop that off for me. Maybe next year. I love this set. Each of these is worth posting on its own. So many beautiful colors. But I am loving the Christmas tree reflection. I love the two small pools of reflection better than I would having the entire tree.

Lovely color, Ah we love new gadgets, I was celebrating the arrival of a 2x converter and 3 new filters from my hubby as well. I guess the photo bug has got us all.

love this set...warm and a sentimental feel to it ..the last one really grabs my attention.. the light in the reflection is just wonderful .. hope all runs smooth soon..:) and oh congrats on your new camera!:)
