Power! I loved the way the sunlight beamed through the opening of the falls casting a wonderful orange glow. Spectacular site to behold.

Along the trail from the parking lot to the falls were thousands upon thousdands of changing leaves. There is incredible beauty in the little things. We just have to look for them.

And in the parking lot! I found these great autumn leaves that reminded me that love is ALL around us. Sometimes, in our quest to go for the big and dramatic, we fail to stop and notice the love and beauty that is all around us. I was nearly guilty of this! It wasn't until I slowed down and looked, that I noticed some wonderful things that were just waiting to be shot.

Just a small handful of images from Snoqualmie Falls from a gorgeous fall day in September. I've been hoping to post several shots that I've taken over the past few months when I've been unable to post. Hopefully this is the first of many posts in a row! Hey, a man can dream, can't he?!
All of these shots remind me of the splendor and majesty that can be found in Nature. From the big and powerful, to the small and intricate. Such beauty all around us. We just need to look for it.

well hello there stranger!! What a nice surprise to see you post. Im surprised to see those vivid autumn colors lurking about still. I would have though that winter was starting to take a firm grip over there by now. By the weather looks just beautiful..fresh and crisp. I suffer from "must-find-something-grand-to-shoot-itis" so your words underneath the last image ring very true. I hope your well Matt. You've been missed..but of course ot forgotten :P

Lucky people living up there top of the cliffs in the houses... what a view! Amazing details and texture on 2. And you are right... we just need to look for it!
